It's so much fun when we get the opportunity to travel to a different part of the state to capture a wedding. Amy and Chris live in the East Bay but decided to get married in Southern California (Newport Beach, specifically) where it would be easier for most of their friends and family to attend. Instead of picking a standard golf club or some kind of beach resort, this couple went all out with their incredible yacht wedding. This beautiful boat was four levels of class, style, and sun drenched perfection. The couple was bathed in daylight during their incredible ocean view ceremony on the third floor. That was followed by dinner and drinks on the first floor. We got to take some lovely couples portraits on the fourth floor in the open sea air atop the boat. Amy and Chris were an absolute dream set against the ocean and the sunset. The night capped off perfectly with an awesome reception on the second floor including colorful uplighting, wild dancing, drinks galore, and lots of sweet treats. We had a fantastic time working with this couple, their family, and all their wonderful friends. Cheers to Chris and Amy for a lifetime of love and laughter!
This bridal party was full of beauties!
This personalized dog tag that Amy got Chris's son Cade made us tear up. Way to go bonus mom!
Cheers to the groom!
First look with dad is always a tear jerker.
There's absolutely nothing like walking your baby doll down the aisle.
These two thought it would be fun to get a big group selfie right before the ceremony. SAY CHEESE!
Groom vows are always a mix of hilarious and touching. We heard lots of laughter and saw a few tears during Chris's to Amy.
The couple wasn't the only one getting emotional during the ceremony.
This gorgeous mix of colored sand represents the way these four came together as a family.
Cheers to the newleyweds!
We couldn't have asked for better weather or a more gorgeous sunset during the bridal party photos.
Give us 15 minutes, a golden sunset, and a stunning couple and we'll create some absolute magic for you.
The reception and dinner took place on a whole other floor, making the boat feel super expansive and elegant.
After some tender dances and a sweet cake cutting, this party totally popped off!
Congrats to the awesome couple!
